notes of first love 3: confession
we went to a play, he confessed, gave me flowers, and joked around before going home. He's so kind and charismatic.. and slightly gay. Not actually, but I love a guy who's comfortable about his orientation and not a bundle of hardcore toxic masculinity muscles that need constant validation. He's so intelligent too, it's jawdroppingly charming.
Weather was amazing! The perfect amount of soft, cool breeze.
He bought a strawberry pop tart for $1.25 & we shared.
I misheard and thought he called nickels "niggels." A little funny.
I laughed at how he drank from the water fountain. I don't know why it was so funny to me, the way he was drinking was just so awkward.
He gave me flowers, I dried them & saved them.
He danced around confessing, filling the space with laughter and teasing before finally saying it.
A younger friend teased him to ask me out multiple times. He was turning red, it was cute.
