"oxford study" is ridiculous
"Oxford study" refers to the phenomenon where Asian women have a preference for white men. I've been seeing this term thrown around on social media; any post featuring a couple with an Asian woman and a white male has the term "oxford study" is repeatedly chanted in the comments until redundant. Even if the trend is real, its such a weird thing to say because it implies fetishization and that the relationship isn't genuine.
Always assuming that an Asian woman is with a white man because she romanticizes them and has internalized racism is ignorant. It denies the other features that this "mediocre white man" can have; good personality, kindness, intelligence, etc. Not all Asian women who are with white men want to be "colonized" or have a deep inner hatred for their racial identity.
